Henning graduated as an accountant from the University of Agder in 1998 and has 11 years of experience with KPMG, where in his final years he held the position of manager and was on the management team of KPMG Vestfold before joining NLI Business Support as group controller in 2009. Henning has broad experience from different sectors and companies, ranging from major international companies to companies in the oil and gas industry, shipping and production, listed companies and smaller companies trading locally in Norway. He also has broad experience in the subject areas of financial statements of accounts (NGaap and USGaap), taxes and levies, as well as internal control and equity transactions and more recently buy-outs, due diligence and restructuring. 

At Ard, Henning is responsible for group accounting and reporting routines in connection with consolidation, tax and equity transactions.  Henning also serves as CFO at Straum AS and is on the board of Hydra Tidal AS.
